Bible Devotional

The biggest thing we want in our lives is freedom, joy, peace and overall goodness. The Israelites wanted the same things. They wanted to be free from oppression.

The journey to freedom included some wilderness seasons, a lot of wishing for the familiar, and a lot of doubt.

We aren’t much different. We want more but we wander sometimes because of disobedience, we fight change, and we doubt that things can ever get better.

Journal Questions

Take a moment and journal these questions

  1. What characteristics do I want to see different from my generational bloodline? (critical spirit, anger, lack etc)
  2. What does freedom in these areas look like?
  3. Holy Spirit, what do I need to do to see lasting change in my life?
